Join us on April 6th for an evening of Comedy with award winning Texas filmmaker and two-time Student Academy Award Nominee Scott Rice in attendance. Rice has written, produced and directed more than 20 short films/videos and is working on his first book, Small Stories, Big Ideas: Demystifying the Short Film. Come out and meet Scott as he shares his filmmaking stories and watch his classic comedic short films including the Houston premiere of "The Adventures of Mad Matt". If you make short films, this evening is not to be missed! Please arrive early, will begin promptly at 9:00PM.

Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of award-winning Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film Commissions Texas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screenings will begin at 9PM at Dean's Credit Clothing, 316 Main Street (between Preston & Congress). Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film in the comfort of the hippest venue downtown.
