For 22 years the Video Association of Dallas, now VideoFest, has provided access to insightful and forward-looking, cutting edge media, and this is the Texas selection. VideoFest reviews hundreds of artists' submissions each year, travels the globe seeking undiscovered talent, and scours the internet for the interesting and the unusual. The first Thursdays short film evening is always a great networking opportunity or simply a chance to get together with or meet new filmmakers and creative people. Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film CommissionsTexas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screenings will begin at 8:00PM at Dean's Credit Clothing, 316 Main Street (between Preston & Congress). Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film in the comfort of the hippest venue downtown.
